The best friend status may be one sided, but Cricket adores her Bonnie pup. She hands toys out for Bonnie to grab and giggles in sheer delight when Bonnie actually takes them. Sometimes she hands Bonnie a dog ball and other times Miss Cricket will try and share her own toys. Bonnie prefers to grab the stuffed animals over the plastic tea pot. Silly friends - it is sheer delight to watch them together.
We have been teaching Cricket from day one to "love Bonnie" which means to pet Bonnie with "open hands." They are both getting the hang of this friend thing. I just sit back, watch, chuckle and thank God for this little family of mine.

Love that beautiful sweater and Bonnie is so awesome to put up with that "loving." Our dog gets frustrated with our kids often! :)
