Happy 1 month birthday, dear girl. Our lives have been changed forever with your beautiful arrival. In the last month we have discovered love in depths never imagined. With each soft kiss and little cuddle we fall more and more in love with you.
You are such a sweet baby. You love to raise your arms up and kick your legs like a champion runner. Each day you smile and interact a little more. One of these days you will know what a smile means, but I have no doubt that your smiles send happy signals to your brain already.
I am proud that you have grown as much as you have in the last month. You really like your mama's milk and it shows. You are a healthy eight and half pounds and have grown two inches sitting pretty at twenty-one inches long. Way to go baby! Trust me when I say your daddy and I have grown, too. You have made us parents for the first time, and we are blessed indeed to have you as our daughter. I love your daddy and have fallen in love even more as I watch him with you. He absolutely adores you, pretty girl!
You are an easy going baby. You don't even bat an eyelash when Bonnie squeaks up a storm with her toys. Sleep eludes you at times, but even those are sweet moments of getting to know you better. Your daddy says we will miss those days before we know it. I know he is right.
What will next month hold? Will it go by quickly? Don't grow up too fast little Cricket. Your mama's heart can only handle so much at a time. The tears still come often as I think of how much love and affection you have captured from your daddy and me. It is a strong raw love that I have never known before and never want to live without.

ReplyDeleteshe is so unbelievably precious <3 enjoy her while she is so teeny tiny, they grow too fast! my munchkins are all grown up, but I wish they were still babies!
